Something Blue Wedding at The Rose Center

After adding the finishing touches, Rebecca revealed her wedding look to her bridesmaids inside the bridal suite at the Rose Center. On the count of three, the bridesmaids turned around to see the beautiful bride in her lace wedding gown. Rebecca was showered in sweet compliments and hugs were shared all around, then it was time for her first look with Justin. Just outside in the courtyard, Justin awaited his bride with his back turned to the venue. He could hear Rebecca’s footsteps approaching, and as they drew nearer, a big smile filled his face. With a tap on the shoulder, Justin turned around to see Rebecca. Both their faces lit up and a warm embrace was immediately shared. The two wandered around the inside of the venue posing for pictures together, and when guests began arriving, they lined up for ceremony.

A welcome sign led guests into the courtyard where a floor floral install decorated the stage and matching arrangements marked the back of the aisle. Once everyone was accounted for, the wedding party made their entrances down the aisle ending with Rebecca. Guests stood and cheered as the bride made her way over to the groom on the stage who was smiling back at her. In front of their family and friends, Rebecca and Justin read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Cocktail hour continued in the courtyard with a Charcuterie and Mediterranean Tray station and tray passed Fig, Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Tarts and Grilled Zucchini Roll Ups. Refreshing beverages were made available at the bar including wine, beer, and the newlywed’s signature cocktails, a Coconut Mai Tai and Long Island. While guests mixed and mingled, Rebecca and Justin spent time with their photographer for golden hour sunset photos. Upon their return, guests were seated inside for reception.

Everyone checked the seating chart and found their seats for dinner. Tables were draped in white linen and topped with bud vases filled with white, brown, and blue flowers and tea lights added flickering light to set the scene. The newlywed’s made their grand entrance into their first dance, then took a seat. Dinner was served just as toasts began. Grilled Greek Chicken Kabobs, Beef Souvlaki, Persian Saffron Rice, Greek Lemon Potatoes, Pita Bread, and Santorini Salad filled everyone’s plates. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Brittany. Family and friends took turns giving speeches and glasses clinked in the air. Afterwards, Rebecca had a quick outfit change, then her and Justin cut into their 2-tiered chocolate cake and invited their guests to indulge in a slice as well after thanking them all for coming. The evening ended out on the dance floor where guests showed off their best moves, dance circles were made, and memories were forever created.
