Feminine Boho Wedding

After finishing hair and make up, Jasmin and her bridesmaids changed from their pink and white robes into dresses inside the bridal suite at the Rose Center. Each bridesmaid wore a different shade and style of pink while the bride stood out in her white lace and tulle wedding gown. Meanwhile, Nils and his groomsmen suited up in navy. Each groomsman sported a light pink tie and the groom, a light pink bow tie. Once everyone was ready, Nils headed upstairs to patiently await his beautiful bride for their first look. With a brush of the shoulder Jasmin turned Nils around and the two shared sweet compliments and smiles. Their wedding party shouted oohs and aahs from below when the two kissed and headed back down to line up for their ceremony.

An arbor covered in peach, white, and pink roses with greenery stood center stage and white and pink flower petals were scattered down the aisle. A large macrame hung from the arbor and baskets on either side were filled with even more foliage. Guests arrived and signed Nils and Jasmin’s guest book then took a seat. The music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances ending with Jasmin. The bride and groom exchanged loving vows and sealed the deal with a kiss in front of family and friends. Cheering followed the newlyweds out of the ceremony and into cocktail hour.

There was plenty to snack on during cocktail hour. Caprese Skewers with Pesto drizzled with aged balsamic and olive oil, Sausage Stuffed Mushroom topped with herbed bread crumbs, a Vegetable Tray, and a European & Domestic Cheese Wedge Tray were all readily available to guests while the bar poured wine and beer. The bride and groom snuck away for a few photos alone (and with their cute pup) before rejoining the group for dinner.

Inside the Rose Center, tables were draped in ivory linens and colorful flowers filled centerpieces adding a pop of color. A chic lounge complete with navy arm chairs, pink couch and wooden table provided a comfortable place for guests to take a seat later that evening. Once everyone was seated, the newlyweds made their grand entrance into their first dance. Champagne flowed as toasts were shared celebrating the happy couple before dinner was served. A plated meal service started first with Summer Spinach and Berry Salad followed by Chicken Pignoli with a sundried tomato pesto sauce, Pesto Crusted Salmon, Penne Alla Checca, and Gourmet Mashed Potatoes. The menu was selected and put together by the bride and groom with help from our Catering and Venue Manager, Rachel. After dinner a white, marble and red velvet cake were cut and the Italian Dessert Station with an assortment of Fresh Fruit Tarts with Vanilla Mascarpone, Chocolate Dipped Cannoli with Lemon Ricotta Filling, Florentine Cookies, Meyer Lemon Cheesecake Bars, and Mini Italiano Tiramisu Cupcakes was unveiled for guests. The remainder of the evening was spent out on the dance floor before the bride and groom were sent off in an uproar of cheers.
