After getting ready at a nearby hotel, Truong and Ashley met for their first look. Dressed in a detailed lace gown, Ashley tapped Truong’s shoulder to turn him around. Smiles filled both their faces while they shared a hug and many compliments. Their wedding party could be heard cheering in the distance and the bride and groom soon joined them at the Rose Center for group photos. Each bridesmaid wore shades of blue and the groomsmen wore light grey with blue ties. Bouquets of white and green florals were held as the groups posed in front of the camera creating lasting memories before lining up for ceremony.
Guests entered the courtyard and stopped by the bride and groom’s welcome table to drop their gifts and sign the guest book. Messages were scrolled onto small papers then folded and placed inside a white piñata for the couple to break open on their anniversary. After grabbing refreshment, guests took their seats facing the stage. A circular ceremony backdrop covered in eucalyptus, pampas, and white flowers was beautifully displayed at the head of the aisle while glass jars filled with more foliage marked the back. As soon as everyone arrived, the wedding party made their entrances. In front of family and friends, Truong and Ashley read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Cocktail hour remained outdoors in the courtyard where tables were draped with grey linen and a lounge complete with blue velvet sofa provided both a stylish and relaxing place for guests to sit. Tray passed Roasted Red Cherry Tomato Bruschetta and Ellie’s Parmesan Meatballs made their rounds and the bar was serving the newlywed’s signature cocktails, a Pineapple Margarita and Sex on the Beach. After mixing and mingling, everyone headed to the seating chart to find their table for dinner.
Inside, gold vases housed white floral centerpieces and thank you cookies were placed atop each place setting. The ceremony backdrop was repurposed for the sweetheart table and our chandeliers sparkled above. Once everyone was seated, performance by the bridesmaids and groomsmen were performed, then the couple made their grand entrance. Before sharing their first dance as husband and wife, the couple showcased both their cultures through two traditional wedding performances, then they themselves took the stage. After their first dance, dinner was served and toasts were made. Chicken Marsala, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Garlic Parmesan Mushrooms, Grilled Marinated Vegetables, and Caesar Salad were on the menu. With help from our Event Specialist, Arielle, Ashley and Truong were able to select a menu they knew their guests would love. Glasses were raised into the air as each speech concluded, then the wedding cake was cut. A 2-tiered lemon cake with raspberry filling was sliced by the newlyweds who then invited everyone to indulge in our Latin Dessert Collection consisting of an assortment of petite tres leches cakes, mini caramel custard flan, coconut macaroons, dulce de leche chocolate tarts, and Mexican wedding cookies. After enjoying a little something sweet, the evening ended out on the dance floor with conga lines and guests showing off their best moves.
