Autumn Inspired Wedding

After previously tying the knot earlier this year with only close family and friends, Kirsten and Romyr were ready to get everyone together to celebrate their marriage. The bride and groom arrived to the Rose Center ready to go. Kirsten’s wedding dress was made of tulle and had beautiful floral detailing throughout and Romyr matched her in white. Together they wandered around the inside of the Rose Center posing for photos before they were joined by their bridesmaids and groomsmen outside in the courtyard. Each groomsman wore ivory and grey and each bridesmaid was dressed in a fall color, rust, emerald, and orange, and held a bouquet of autumn-colored flowers. Once all the group shots were done, everyone lined up for ceremony.

An acrylic sign decorated in flowers and greenery welcomed guests into the courtyard where they signed Romyr and Kristen’s guest book before taking a seat. On the stage, white and orange florals decorated either side of a copper arch where the bride and groom would soon be standing. Once all the seats were filled, music cued up and Romyr was first to walk out followed by the groomsmen and bridesmaids, and ending with Kirsten. The couple shared their vows, but this time it was even more special because everyone was in attendance. Rings were exchanged and a kiss was shared as everyone stood from their seats and clapped in excitement.

Cocktail hour was inside where Filet & Wild Mushrooms, Fig, Goat Cheese & Mascarpone Tarts, and Thai Chicken Spring Rolls were tray passed. The bar was shaking up and pouring the bride and groom’s signature cocktails, a Moscow Mule and Gin & Juice, among other things. Guests enjoyed time catching up with one another and the bride and groom made their rounds thanking each guest for coming. Before long, everyone was invited back outside for the reception.

Tables were draped in white linen and fall-inspired centerpieces sprouted from the middle of each table. Printed menus topped each plate and rust colored napkins framed them in. Guests looked to the seating chart to find their assigned tables and took a seat. Kirsten and Romyr made their grand entrance and everyone stood waving their napkins in the air as the couple made their way over in front of their sweetheart table. The two shared their first dance in front of family and friends, then took a seat. Toasts were made that had the newlyweds laughing and crying, then dinner was served. Chicken Veronique, Cabernet Braised Short Ribs, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Pear & Walnut Salad, and Jay’s Famous Cheese Rolls were selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Sierra, for the wedding menu. Everyone finished their plates, then took to the dance floor to show off their moves. Kirsten and Romyr snuck away to cut their chocolate cake while everyone continued dancing and working up an appetite. Once the cake was cut, the bride and groom invited everyone to enjoy a slice and indulge their dessert station. An Italian Dessert Collection with an assortment of Tiramisu Cannolis, Cappuccino Cream Puffs, Limoncello Cheesecake Bites, Chocolate Dipped Biscotti, and Mini Tiramisu Cupcakes was set out along with a Sweet Treat Tray with Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, Dark Chocolate Ganache Brownies, Butterscotch Blondies, and Oreo Cheesecake Squares. Between the dancing, desserting’, and photo booth picture taking, the party wasn’t ready to stop. the bride and groom surprised their guests with a late night snack of Beef Picadillo Empanadas and Gloria’s Caramelized Bacon Wrapped Mini Franks because they knew the party energy was going to last long after dinner. After many desserts, snacks, and champagne toasts later, the evening ended with a celebratory send off.
